Celtic will take on Livingston at the Tony Macaconi stadium this afternoon looking for the three points at a ground where we are long overdue a victory against a side that has taken four points from six against Ange Postecoglou’s side this season.
Joe Hart starts in goal and the back four has Anthony Ralston coming into the side at right back with Cameron Carter Vickers and Carl Starfelt in the centre of defence – both were outstanding in midweek – and Greg Taylor retains the left back slot.
Nir Bitton is going to be the sitting No 6 allowing the captain Callum McGregor and Tom Rogic to play in the more offensive midfield roles.
The front three also has some surprises with James Forrest starting – a reward for a lively showing in midweek when coming off the bench, Jota is on the other side and Daizen Maeda retains the centre forward slot that most fans thought would be given to Giakoumakis today. The Greek striker is on the bench alongside Bain, Abada, McCarthy, Ideguchi, O’Riley, Hatate, Welsh and Juranovic.

With theRangers beating Aberdeen 1-0 yesterday the lead at the top of the table going into this game is superior goal difference only. A much needed win ends the Livi hoodoo and more importantly will restore the points advantage at the top of the table.
A few surprises in today’s starting eleven but it’s the team that Ange reckons can win today. Let’s hope he’s got this one bang on.
