Team’s Up – Martindale names Livi team to frustrate Celtic

David Martindale has named his starting XI for Livingston as the West Lothian club look to frustrate Celtic. Following the impressive draw at Ibrox last weekend, Martindale will be hoping to make life difficult for Ange Postecoglou’s team.

Livi will set up in a 5-3-2 formation as Martindale continues to show his flexibility.

Jack Hamilton is in goals. A back five comprises of Nicky Devlin at right-back, a central trio of Sean Kelly, Ayo Obileye and Jack Fitzwater with Jackson Longridge at left-back.

A middle three is made up of Scott Pittman, Jason Holt and James Penrice. Stephen Kelly and Joel Nouble make up the advanced two.

On the bench for Livi: Konovalov, Omeonga, Shinnie. Bahamboula, Goncalves, Anderson.

Ange’s Celtic team has already been confirmed with Kyogo leading the line. In goals, Joe Hart continues. A back four of Greg Taylor, Moritz Jenz, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Tony Ralston. In midfield, Aaron Mooy, Reo Hatate and Matt O’Riley start. In attack, Sead Haksabanovic plays on the left, James Forrest on the right and Kyogo through the middle.
