Team’s Up – Starfelt and Rogic Start

Ange Postecoglou has named his Celtic side to take on Hearts in the Cinch Premiership this evening as the Hoops look to close the gap on theRangers to four points after their penalty in the closing stages at Easter Road gave them a rather fortuitous victory against Celtic’s League Cup Final opponents.

Joe Hart as usual has the gloves and with Carl Starfelt returning after his hamstring injury, there’s one change to the back four as played on Sunday in the 2-1 win over Aberdeen.

Scotland’s Anthony Ralston is at right back. Croatian international Josip Juranovic doesn’t pick the team – Ange does – so is at left back while the central defensive partnership is Starfelt and Scotland Under 21 captain Stephen Welsh – who likes a goal against Hearts!

Tom Rogic returns to the side and is joined by Celtic skipper Callum McGregor and David Turnbull.

James Forest is preferred to Liel Abada while Jota is on the left and Kyogo through the middle.

On the bench for Celtic this evening are Bain, Abada, Ajeti, Montgomery, McCarthy, Bitton and Johnston.

Kick-off is at 7.45.
