Celtic on the club’s official account on X posted their match report yesterday after at 2.15pm after Brendan Rodgers’ side somehow managed to lose 1-0 to bottom of the Scottish Premiership St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park…

After Hibs looked to have brought forward the Celtic title party by winning 2-0 at Ibrox and in doing so inflicting a fifth successive home defeat on theRangers for the first time in their history dating all the way back to August 2012, Celtic knew that they were within two victories of securing the title and that it could be won at Celtic Park this coming Saturday against Kilmarnock if they could pick up the three points in Perth.

McDiarmid Park was far from being an intimidating away venue, with St Johnstone restricting their own support to their main stand (and failing to sell that out) while Celtic supporters made the journey from all over the country and beyond to fill three stands.
