‘There is nothing to say’, Ajeti’s agent refuses to comment on Celtic move

ALBIAN AJETI’S AGENT has refused to comment on his client’s proposed move to Celtic by saying there were no new updates. The Scottish Champions are in the market for a new striker and Ajeti is one of the favourites. As reported by the Daily Record, Arber Sakiri, has said that there have been no developments in the Ajeti to Celtic story. Yesterday, Anthony Joseph of Sky Sports said that the player was still interested in a move to the Scottish Champions.

“For the moment, there is nothing to say. He is still a player of West Ham.

“It is normal that we have some calls here and some calls there and people are talking about this.

“It is also normal that people are talking about something and some interest here or there, maybe that’s true. From our side, there is nothing to say.”

The 23-year-old Swiss International has failed to make an impact since joining the Hammers from Basel last summer for £8m. Now, Neil Lennon looks set to persuade Ajeti to a agree a deal to bring him to Paradise on a loan-to-buy agreement.

David Moyes has been ready to sanction a deal to allow the Swiss striker to switch the London Stadium for the Scottish Champions after just 9 Premier League appearances. Now, signalling his intent to get Ajeti out of the club has sounded out other options ahead of the new season.
