‘This is abhorrent,’ Bears Behaving Badly after suffering another Beautiful Sunday

SICK RANGERS fans at Ibrox yesterday tried to blame Celtic substitute Leigh Griffiths for their own disgraceful behaviour while Scott Brown was verbally assaulted by a moron who told the Celtic captain that he ‘hopes he dies of cancer’ just as the Celtic party boarded the team bus for the short but victorious journey across the city with the three points safely secured.

And former Celt, Chris Sutton was also targeted in a most disgraceful manner, with the BT Pundit reporting a Rangers supporter to Police Scotland.

Leigh Griffiths was having none of it though and responded on twitter brilliantly, making sure everyone knew the trouble was nothing to do with him. It’s never their fault is it?

Griffiths celebrated with his manager after Jonny Hayes scored Celtic’s second and it all became a bit too much for the hordes in the Main stand as trouble erupted. Stewards and Police had to move in and although there were five arrests at the game it is unclear if any came from this incident.

Griffiths took to twitter to post a GIF of Elmo shrugging in response to the suggestion he caused the fury among the raging beaten Hordes.

And Neil Lennon also made his thoughts on the Ibrox trouble clear after the match.

“I didn’t see it. I was halfway down the pitch at the time. It happens, so I’m not going to comment on it.

“The stewards were on it very quickly, so there’s nothing to report,” he told the media, as reported by Scottish Sun.

And on top of the horrible incident involving Scott Brown, former Celtic Star and BT Pundit Chris Sutton had to report a hateful tweet mentioning his daughter to Police Scotland.

Scott Murray seems to have deleted his account though.

Police Scotland last night confirmed that five arrests were made during the game in connection with public order offences.

Four of the men charged have been released subject to penalty notices, where one man, 30, is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court this morning.

And the bad behaviour also involved their players. Northern Ireland will have an international call off this morning after Jordan Jones hurt himself while assaulting Celtic’s new signing Bauer in the closing seconds of the match that finished the Rangers 0 Celtic 2.
