Tickets for Celtic’s first home games in 2023 go on general sale

Celtic have made an announcement online via Twitter, that the first home games at Celtic Park in the New Year against Kilmarnock and St Mirren have gone on general sale. The club have a tricky run of away fixtures coming up in December and into the beginning of January first to contend with.

Celtic play Aberdeen at Pittodrie come 12.30pm on Saturday afternoon, whilst they then face a trip to Easter Road on the 28th to play Hibs, then on to Ibrox to play theRangers on 2 January. All these games will be very difficult to overcome, but with Ange Postecoglou guiding us, we should be in good shape.

After that, we have some home games, which will be a welcome return to Paradise in the bleakness of January to brighten up our days! First up, we have Kilmarnock on Saturday 7 January and then it will be St Mirren – who coincidentally are the only team to beat us domestically this season – on Wednesday 18 January.

Kick-off when we meet Derek McInnes’ side will be 3pm in the afternoon, then it will be a midweek game under the lights against the Saints at the standard 7.45pm. Both games promise to be a wonderful for those who do not currently have a season ticket to snap up some briefs to watch the mighty Glasgow Celtic putting on a show!

Best hurry though, these tickets tend to be bought-up quick-style from Celtic!

Meanwhile with the postal service back tomorrow tonight would be a good time to order a copy of The Celtic Rising ~ 1965: The Year Jock Stein Changed Everything. Then we’ll post a copy signed by the author David Potter to you in the morning using first class post.

I'm a Garngad Bhoy through and through. My first ever Celtic game was a friendly against Italian side Parma at Celtic Park, in 2002. Currently a student of English Literature and Education at the University of Strathclyde for my sins. Favourite game would be a toss up between beating Manchester United with that Naka freekick, or the game against the Oldco when Hesselink scored in the dying seconds. I'm still convinced Cal Mac is wasted playing that far back.
