Move Yang and Tilio on and put the money to good use..

There’s been reports that English Championship side Norwich City are interested in Yang, and  I think we can all agree that it’s time for the South Korean to move on. Sky Sports reporter Anthony Joseph posted the news that Yang plus Celtic’s Australian winger Marco Tilio are both attracting interest in the transfer market.

With Jota out until next year and and Nicolas Kuhn already sold that would leave Daizen Maeda and James Forrest as our wingers so more additions are going to be required for our wide-men.

Yang is a decent prospect and has been a regular in our match day squad these past couple of years showing flashes of his ability since his move from Gangwon FC which was believed to be for a fee in the region of £2 million.

The South Korean international however has failed to show that talent on a consistent basis and after two years, that isn’t good enough for a club like Celtic. He isn’t a player you would say is going to be a regular starter, and that doesn’t look like changing so it’s best for both parties if the club cashed in whilst there is solid interest in the player.

A fee of £5 million should be efficient enough and it should be put to better use in the shape of a new player, and more importantly one that Brendan wants.

This approach from Norwich also allowed Michael Nicholson to turn the tables on the Carrow Road side that clearly over-charged Celtic last summer by driving up the price for Adam Idah.

  1. Any money that is raised for these players will end up in the same place as the 100 million plus savings and never be seen again, this boards greed and contempt for the supporters knows no bounds
