Tonight, ‘Brisk gusty winds up to 25mph’ and a welcome return for the Green Brigade

IT looks like there will be plenty of wind and noise at Celtic Park this evening for the visit of Hamilton in the Scottish Premiership.

Celtic’s Stadium manager Robin Buchanan as always provides us with an accurate weather forecast on match days at Celtic Park. Today’s forecast is as follows:

“Weather forecast for Celtic Park. Cloudy and damp morning with drizzly rain some heavy bursts possible. The rain will linger into the afternoon before clearing. Mostly dry thereafter, chance of a shower during the match. 7-8 Celsius. Brisk gusty winds up to 25mph.”

So that’s confirmation that it will be windy. What about the Noise? Well Celtic’s SLO John Paul Taylor has confirmed that the full stadium will be open tonight, therefore the Green Brigade will be back in their usual place at the front of the North Curve standing area.

Hopefully this signals progress in the discussions between the Ultra group of Celtic supporters and the company’s PLC Board and also that the Green Brigade will be in their usual spot behind the goals at Hampden on Sunday.

Dispute or no dispute we want Celtic to be at full strength on and off the park for the first ever Cup Final against the Rangers. On this last point, incidentally, that’s something our CLUB should be saying in the face of the big continuity lie that will be rammed down our throats over the next few days.

Here’s what a group of Celtic supporters had to say about this when we first met them in the League Cup semi-final in 2015.
