Unique Angle Video – Belting out ‘We’re Glasgow Celtic’, another Morelos con-trick

THE CELTIC Support certainly enjoyed the trip to Perth last night and were in great voice throughout, as you can hear on Celtic TV’s Unique Angle video which has just been released.

The three stands given over to the Celtic Support certainly improved the atmosphere and will have done wonders for the Saints bank-balance this morning. Their own support failed to turn up in sufficient numbers to fill just one stand, and that must be a concern for the St Johnstone board and fairly depressing for Tommy Wright and his players.

Now the action moves to the weekend and Derek McInnes will be looking for his Aberdeen side to get something from their trip to Ibrox. Aberdeen were thrashed there easier in the season but that is certainly a freak result when you consider the way this fixture has gone in recent seasons.

That game is on Saturday so it’s Celtic’s turn to sit back and see what happens before we kick-off against Hamilton on Sunday.

Defoe is the latest player to suffer an injury. Tavernier is still missing, Jack got injured at Tynecastle in their 2-1 defeat and Morelos had to come on last night, despite carrying a knock, after Defoe pulled up and left the field on a stretcher.

Watching their highlights against Ross County didn’t tell us much, it was a fairly mundane win, Ross County created next to nothing but there were few moments of quality on show from Gerrard’s side. In the closing stages what Morelos shoot wide of goal in the six yards line then go down like he’s been shot or something (presumably by Kent). Is he screaming for a penalty? There was no-one near him? He really is a loathsome character.

He picked up the second of his three yellow cards at Celtic Park for diving inside the box. Will the Compliance Officer have a look at us footage on the SPFL’s You Tube channel, see below?
