Scott Bain and Callum McGregor are both due a shout-out for their role in the only goal of the game last night as Celtic beat Aberdeen 1-0 thanks to that snippet level bullet of a shot from Celtic’s midfield hit-man David Turnbull. This is the game that was postponed at the start of the season after the Bolingoli illicit day-trip to Spain which of course was in breach of the Scottish Government’s Covid Restrictions.  Ironic therefore that on the very day that the game is played in the second half of FEBRUARY – theRangers have come clean (as far as it suits) on their latest handful of players who have breached the same Government rules.

What say you now Nicola? I have been making these points to my MSP since the first breach by theRangers was revealed towards the end of last year. He has written to me to say that he will now formally request an explanation from the Scottish Government. It is certainly worth writing to your own MSP too on this matter.

And last night we wrote about how the SFA had a new compliance officer who is certain to please theRangers fans as he’s one of their own. Auldheid can allow himself a wry smile today. Resolution 12 and all that…
