Valencia ticket blow for travelling Celtic fans

VALENCIA have advised Celtic that they will NOT have a neutral section available for the Europa League Round of 32 match at the Mestalla Stadium on 21 February.

Up to ten thousand Celtic Fans could make the trip to Spain with it was thought that Valencia would accommodate as many as possible in their 55,000 capacity stadium but in now looks likely that many supporters will end up watching the game in local bars or in a fans zone.

Celtic’s SLO John Paul Taylor has given an update on the Valencia tickets this morning.

“Info for fans travelling to Valencia, we have be informed by Valencia FC that there is no plans to have a neutral section and only Celtic fans with official tickets for the away section will be admitted to the Stadium.”

One supporter though saw the funny side of the disappointing news…
