Video – All the goals from Celtic’s 3-1 win over Hibs

NEIL LENNON will be more than satisfied with both the performance and the scoreline today as effectively a celtic reserves side took on a strong Hibs side and won the match both comfortably and deservedly.

There were standout performances throughout the side. Hazard looks like a very decent goalkeeper and has the height that perhaps Scott Bain lacks. Ralston was back in a Celtic jersey again after completing his loan spell at St Johnstone and did nothing wrong. Elhamed and Welsh had a decent afternoon in the Glasgow rain at the heart of the Celtic defence.

McInroy got another 45 minutes after his stint yesterday against Ross County and looks a very decent player, while his replacement at half time, Connell was a stand out in the second half.

Soro looks first team ready, his captain Olivier Ntcham really should be in the first team, and both Robertson and Henderson played well.

It was lovely to see young Karamoko Dembele get his first goal for the senior side, in a match where he was on the receiving end of one or two rather later challenges.

Leigh Griffiths made the difference when he came on and would have had a goal had Klimala not nicked it off him on the goal-line. Klimala added a second near the end to ensure the victory.

A slightly better match that yesterday with the conditions changing from glorious sunshine to incessant Scottish rain in the space of 24 hours.

Plenty of positives for Neil Lennon with these two victories. Now the real business starts on Sunday against Hamilton as the quest for Ten-in-a-Row begins.

Here’s all of today’s goals…
