Video: Ange Postecoglou explains his decisions on Griffiths and Urhoghide deals

Ange Postecoglou has been speaking to Celtic View Editor Paul Cuddihy up at Lennoxtown after he completed his first full week training with his new squad of players.

The new Celtic manager explained the decision making that taken place over the past few days with the contract extension agreed with Leigh Griffiths and the signing of Sheffield Wednesday defender Osaze Urhoghide who joined the club yesterday on a four year deal. Someone in the MSM called this a red flag’ signing for Celtic, yet Postecoglou outlines how he picked up on the world that had been happening behind the scenes and the 20 year old defender, who turns 21 on Sunday and is called a teen by Daily Record, was a stand-out that he wanted to progress.

Ange is looking forward to getting the player who have been away on international duty back but reckons that this week has given him the chance to work with the younger players in the squad to assess the talent available to him at the club.
