Video: Ange Postecoglou speaks ahead of kick off

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou spoke to Celtic TV ahead of kick off against Dundee United this afternoon. The Australian made just one change from the team that beat Raith Rovers with Adam Montgomery dropping out for Josip Juranovic.

The manager is confident that his side can do the business this afternoon, even if they are missing some key figures.

Celtic go into the game seven points behind leaders Rangers with a game in hand. It is an opportunity to get a winning run in the league starting against United today.

Three points is an absolute must. Come on Celtic!

  1. Since it was announced that Ange was going to be the new Celtic manager, I was never satisfied with the choice.
All of the hype when we are going forward and scoring is all well and good.
But it didn’t take long to see that Ange has zero plan b!
It makes me shudder to say this out loud, but this is the worst Celtic team Ihave seen in my life, and let’s not kid ourselves! There’s been some bad ones!
With the exception of a loanee, Jota, the players today looked uninterested as if they were out for a stroll!
While the Dundee Utd manager wasn’t wrong about what should have been called for a penalty to them in the first half, I suspect Clancy waived play on because he knew Clark fouled Starfelt in exactly the same way in the build up.
Two wrongs don’t make it right of course, but that’s the incompetence of Clancy.
Dundee Utd were the better team by quite some distance. But against this current Celtic team, I wouldn’t be bragging about that too much.
Ange will be gone before Christmas and once again we will look for a cheap option who will do what he is told by the archaeic board.
