Video: Brilliant Klimala strike results in Poland U21 assist

PATRYK KLIMALA will be hoping that he has done enough in recent weeks to force himself into Neil Lennon’s thinking for this weekend’s match versus Rangers. The Polish striker played 83 minutes for the U21 side and hit a stunning strike against the crossbar only for Bartosz Bida tapped in the rebound.

With Odsonne Edouard a doubt for the game, Celtic may need to change their formation bit if they don’t, Klimala will be hoping that he gets one of the striking berths available. He has not done himself any harm with fine performances from the bench this season.

Klimala scored Celtic’s second in the recent win at McDiarmid Park. He managed to ride a tackle before leaping up and firing the ball into the net. Klimala arrived in January but during the lockdown back in March, he bulked up and improved his English meaning when he returned to action, he was ready to go.
