Video: Celtic goals across the years On This Day

Thanks to @Lilze85 on Twitter, we are able to take a trip down memory lane and look at some fixtures in previous seasons involving the famous Green and White Hoops. This day included league matches, European qualifiers and friendly matches but some good goals were scored across the decades.

Firstly in 2018, Celtic faced Kenny Miller’s Livi to open the 2018/19 season.

Next was the opening fixture of the 2012/13 season as Celtic welcomed Aberdeen to Paradise.

Next in 2010/11, Neil Lennon’s Celtic were knocked out of the Champions League qualifiers with a 4-2 defeat to Braga.

In 2001, Martin O’Neill’s side beat Killie 1-0 at Rugby Park thanks to a goal from the King of Kings.

In 1991, John Collins’ goal was enough to beat Tottenham Hotspur at Celtic Park.

Also on this day was Danny McGrain’s testimonial versus Manchester United.
