Video: Celtic target Aaron Mooy in action

Reported Celtic target Aaron Mooy appears to be interested in coming to Glasgow given his relationship with Ange Postecoglou and having a Scottish wife; however, he is a player that some supporters might not have seen a lot of recently given he has been in Shanghai.

The central midfielder spent time with St Mirren before returning to Australia. This move to his homeland allowed him time to improve before a move to Manchester City. Despite never featuring for the English club, he impressed on loan at Huddersfield, before making the move permanent. He then moved to Brighton for £12m following The Terriers’ relegation. He has been playing in China since a move from Brighton in 2019 but COVID-19 restrictions in the country mean that seeing his family is extremely difficult so a move to Celtic cold very well be on the cards.
