Video: Conor Sammon pulls one back for Alloa; sets up nervy finish

Veteran striker Conor Sammon has pulled League One side Alloa back into the Fourth Round Scottish Cup tie against Celtic. First-half goals from Giorgos Giakoumakis and Liel Abada gave Ange Postecoglou’s team a 2-0 lead going into the breaks but they have failed to take the chances to put the game out of sight against the Clackmannanshire side.

A floated cross allowed the ex-Hearts attacker to head the ball into the ground and beyond Joe Hart.

Celtic have actually lost three players to injuries with Callum McGregor, Abada and Guchi being forced off the pitch with injuries.
