Video – ‘Describe the feeling of playing at Celtic Park?’…’It’s something incredible,’ answered Odsonne Edouard

CELTIC talisman Odsonne Edouard has been speaking, in French but with accurate subtitles (Sky Sports hang your heads) to French media as reported by Vigin Media Sport.

Eddie talks about the reason he came to Celtic, how both Moussa Dembele and Olivier Ntcham helped sell the club to him and he’s certainly had no regrets about his decision as he looks forward to another big European night against Copenhagen in the Europa League this evening.

French Eddie, as the Celtic fans call him, was asked to “describe the feeling of playing at Celtic Park?’…’It’s something incredible,’ answered Odsonne Edouard.

“It’s something incredible.”

In recent weeks the praise for the Celtic striker has gone throw the roof with the former Celtic manager saying he reminded him of Dennis Bergkamp while former Celtic striker, now top media pundit Chris Sutton stated that Edouard is the best Celtic striker since Henrik Larsson – and that includes Moussa Dembele who is edging closer to a summer move from Lyon to Manchester Utd.

The one disappointment this year as Celtic have been brilliant on the park, is there has been no reports that the club are trying to get Edouard signed up on a new contract. Every Celtic supporter is realistic enough to know that a player of his talent will attract big bids from top sides across Europe but all would rather he hands around here to achieve legendary status by helping Celtic win Ten-in-a-Row.

That’s the time to sell Celtic and that’s the time to go Odsonne. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if that was the plan and the contract extension was getting sorted to make it happen?

Fingers crossed. Here’s Odsonne’s video with the accurate translation from French to English…

One of the replies to this Tweet from @celticbible made a list of Edouard’s attributes as a footballer…
