Andres Dreyer has been sent off for simulation. The 23-year-old, who dived in the first half which sparked Bitton’s reaction and second yellow, went down easily and referee Sandro Schärer decided that Dreyer would receive a second booking for his dive. The Dane’s sending off evens up the sides after Bitton’s sending off at the end of the first half.

Celtic looked to have given themselves an uphill battle after the rash decision from Bitton but now with ten players apiece, Celtic can hopefully build upon their lead ahead of the second leg.
