It’s interesting to watch different keepers go about their business, it becomes clear after a while that there are a few different techniques when it comes to making saves.
Most will look to dive around and make some fancy looking saves for the camera, some will look to use their feet to hack the ball clear and then there’s Fraser Forster.

This save against Motherwell tonight was a prime example, its not even like he needs to dive, he’s just so solid that a mere shrug is enough to ensure the ball is diverted away from goal:

It’s not the first time this season he’s made a big stop and it probably won’t be the last, but it’s still great to see just how good he is.
