Fran Alonso was ecstatic as he celebrated a crucial win against Rangers at the Ibrox club’s Training Centre earlier today. The boss spoke to Celtic TV and couldn’t stop smiling as the win (and subsequent Glasgow City draw with Hibs) means that his team are a step closer towards achieving their goal of Champions League football.
Goals from Kelly Clark and Sarah Ewens sealed the win as Celtic continue their fine form in recent weeks.

The Spaniard took to Twitter to convey his delight after Celtic Women beat Rangers 2-1 to complete a Green & Whitewash over their SWPL rivals. It is now three wins out of three for Alonso as Celtic boss, a fine record. Alonso sporting the Hoops himself proclaimed that ‘Glasgow is Green’.
