There’s been that many goals scored by Celtic in the last nine seasons that it’s easy to forget some of the crackers we’ve witnessed. As such, we invite you to relive the goal of the season from each of the nine in a row campaigns.
/12 – Dylan McGeouch v St Mirren: McGeouch didn’t play too many games for the Celts, but there were high hopes for him after this stunning goal on his debut.
/13 – Tony Watt v Barcelona: Undoubtedly the easiest goal of the season winner to be remembered in the last nine seasons.
/14 – Kris Commons v Shaktar Karagandy: Another European goal won goal of the season in 2013/14. Few could forget this stunning strike to start Celtic’s comeback from a 2-0 aggregate deficit.
/15 – Kris Commons v The Rangers: Commons won goal of the season for a second year running with this strike against The Rangers in the Scottish League Cup semi-final.
/16 – Tom Rogic v Kilmarnock: Finally, a goal from the league campaign won the award with Rogic’s stunning late winner at Rugby Park.
/17 – Moussa Dembele v St Johnstone: This is perhaps Celtic’s best team goal since Judas scored at Love Street in 1986.
/18 – Kieran Tierney v Kilmarnock: Tierney took the captain’s armband and played as part of a back three for the League Cup visit of Kilmarnock. He unleashed this thunderbolt to mark the occasion.
/19 – Scott Brown v St Johnstone: The skipper doesn’t score many, but when he does find the net they’re often memorable. This strike was no different.
