Video: Hilarious – Brown celebrates in front of Hearts captain Naismith

Scott Brown must have thought he had helped win the game when his header was saved and converted by Leigh Griffiths just before the half time of extra time. The 35-year-old captain showed desire and leadership as Celtic were under the cosh and he threw himself at Ryan Christie’s corner to help put Celtic ahead.

Brown appeared to enjoy the goal, as he celebrated wildly – in front of the Hearts captain Steven Naismith.

There were some unsavoury scenes at the end when the players clearly couldn’t take the fact that Celtic had won the game in the most emotional of ways. The Celtic captain had been enjoying the battle in the first half as he mocked Andy Halliday – who was trying to get close to the 35-year-old.

The better team won, credit to Hearts for a valiant but dour effort. History has been made by a Celtic team that showed immense courage and fortitude in winning four Scottish Cups in a row. Naismith along with his runners up medal, is widely tipped to get the part of the Grinch in an upcoming movie.

  2. Take Naismith out of hearts Las Sunday we.d run up a real score ….he.s really annoying but he gives 100%
