Video – “It’s got to be Celtic” and Eddi Reader reckons it’s ‘Perfect’

“Too many people take second best, but I won’t take anything less, it’s got to be CEL-TIC” – that was one of the perfect sounds of Celtic’s Centenary season double winning season back in 1988 and decades later the Scottish singer/songwriter is still proud to have had one of her songs adopted, adapted and sung by the Celtic support.

Here is Eddi Reader proudly talking about the Celtic fans’ version of Perfect on a cookery show, and thanks to Celtic Curio for posting this on social media this morning. Takes me back to that brilliant Centenary season and Celtic League and Scottish Cup triumph as we also sang Happy Birthday to Celtic!
