Kyogo Furuhashi finished off the scoring with a late finish. After coming on for Adam Idah midway through the half, the Japanese striker didn’t have much involvement but took his chance by running through and firing beyond McGovern.

The linesman put his flag up and the celebrations were paused for the VAR check. However, it was deemed from Clydesdale House that the striker was onside. Hopefully it is a goal that does Kyogo some good in terms of confidence.
Celtic will now take their place alongside managerless Aberdeen in tomorrow’s draw. Rangers play Hibs at Easter Road this evening before Hearts host Morton at Cappielow.
