Video: Luis Palma curls in goal for Celtic against Motherwell

Celtic collected all three points on this afternoon’s trip to Fir Park after a dramatic ending. Luis Palma popped up with a great finish minutes before the final whistle. The Honduran winger, who replaced Daizen Maeda with fifteen minutes to play, scored what he thought was the winner with an effort that evaded Liam Kelly, the defenders and his Celtic teammates.

Spittal would score after 95 minutes before Celtic would retake the lead with 97 minutes on the clock thanks to Matt O’Riley.

Meanwhile Thursday 19 October is going to be a very special day for The Celtic Star so please save the date…

John Hartson will be The Celtic Star’s guest of honour as we celebrate the launch of Matt Corr’s new book Majic, Stan and the King of Japan on Thursday 19th October at the Kerrydale Suite at Celtic Park. More information on the night and ticket details to follow…. Majic, Stan and the King of Japan tells the story of Gordon Strachan’s first dramatic and ultimately highly successful first season as Celtic manager and it was of course Big Bad John who scored the goal that won the league!
