Video: “Miami Vice are on the phone Fran…”

Fran Alonso made a fashion statement as his exciting Celtic FC Women’s side were making a title contender’s statement of their own at a gloriously sunny K-Park yesterday afternoon.

The unusually sunny weather clearly resulted in the flamboyant Celtic manager having something of a wardrobe malfunction (depending on your own appreciation of fashion trends from the 1980s I suppose) but even his dazzling clobber was overshadowed by a stunning goal by striker Sarah Ewens – which gave the unlucky Hibs goalkeeper Emily Mutch (wearing number 13) with absolutely no chance. Not even big Fraser Forster could have saved that one!

Here’s the delighted Celtic FC Women manager after yesterday third crucial win in a week – beating Spartans, theRangers and Hibs to take 9 points from 9 as Celtic eye a Champions League spot and even a shot at the title.

Loved the comment posted just below the video and used as our headline…”Miami Vice are on the phone Fran…” LOL.
