Video: Neil Lennon explains Vasilis Barkas stance

Neil Lennon has decided that Scott Bain will be Celtic’s No.1 going forward, replacing Vasilis Barkas. The Irishman has said that Barkas, a £4.5m acquisition from AEK Athens, has failed to settle in and his performances have warranted giving Bain another chance to start.

Celtic have played three goalies since Craig Gordon and Fraser Forster left. Two players that trained with Forster last season – Scott Bain and Conor Hazard played as makeshift No.1s, replacing Vasilis Barkas who was meant to be the like-for-like replacement. Lennon may be eyeing a new goalkeeper in January… if he is still at the club.
