Video: Neil Lennon ‘really pleased’ despite Lyon defeat

NEIL LENNON has said that he was ‘really pleased’ with his Celtic side’s showing in the 2-1 defeat to Lyon last night. A youthful Celtic side conceded twice in the first half but despite this, they appeared composed on the ball against a strong Lyon side.

At the hour mark, Lennon decided to bring on his first team players and Celtic were aggressive in their press, which the manager was happy with. Moi Elyounoussi scored an impressive goal as the Celts had something to show for their efforts.

Celtic will now travel to Paris for a game versus PSG as the short trip to France concludes on Tuesday.
