Video: On this day, Celtic lifted title number four

THERE is not a lot of football being played right now across the world as Coronavirus takes hold – except Belarus, where vodka and saunas are meant to keep the virus at bay. However, thanks to @Lilze85 on Twitter, we can take a trip down memory lane and look at some of Celtic’s goals on this day.

Ronny Deila had his hands on the Scottish Premiership after Celtic put on a show in front of the Paradise crowd. Stefan Scepovic scored two with goals from Stefan Johansen, Leigh Griffiths and Kris Commons giving Celtic the perfect end to the league campaign.

Following the Scottish Cup exit at the hands of John Hughes’ side, Celtic were out to prove a point. Deila’s side had been robbed of the chance to win a Treble but they duly dismissed the Highlanders in emphatic style.

Deila built on from a difficult start at the Scottish Champions to build a strong team that dominated the league that season, despite a challenge from Aberdeen. Deila helped bring through youngsters like Callum McGregor, Kieran Tierney and Tom Rogic during his tenure despite being restricted in terms of spending in the transfer window.
