Video: Raucous Celtic Support Celebrate The First Of Most Recent 9IAR Run, On This Day

On this day in 2012, Celtic won the league title at Rugby Park. It was Neil Lennon’s first as manager and was the first of what would prove to be nine consecutive league titles. After waiting four years to become champions, the Celtic support were in party mode, packing three of the four stands.

Early goals from Charlie Mulgrew (2) and Glenn Loovens gave the Bhoys an unassailable lead, at which point all three sections of the Celtic support produced one of the loudest periods of chanting you’ll ever hear in a football ground. Rugby Park shook to it’s foundations, the camera shook and all knew “Glasgow’s green and white!”

A quite incredible atmosphere and great days to reflect on.
