“We want to win it this weekend,” Boyata warning for Rangers

BELGIAN defender Dedryck Boyata faced the media today ahead of the big match on Sunday when Celtic can wrap up the Magnificent 7th consecutive league title and edge a step closer to an historic Double Treble.

All they have to do is beat Rangers.

Boyata of course has scored one of the 25 gaols that Celtic have put past Rangers goalkeepers since Brendan Rodgers took over as Celtic manager and we are asking you to vote for your favourite three goals from that brilliant 25, there’s a wee video showing every goal accompanied by a great wee song you are CERTAIN to hear on Sunday! Just click HERE to enjoy and choose your top three skelpers.

Anyway, back to Boyata, who I thought had a decent game at Easter Road last weekend (one of the few who deserved pass marks IMO), he is clearly determined that there will not be a second slip up.

“It would be great to win the game and be champion. Nothing is done yet and it’s going to be a hard game. Obviously, if we manage to win the game, it would be great for us,” we stated.

“We wanted to win the game last week. It was a hard game and it didn’t happen. For us, we have to move forward and Sunday is a game that we want to win,” Boyata said.

He appreciates that Rangers will try their best to spoil our party.

“We can hear and see it’s been a tough moment for them, but playing against is us is always a moment for them to get back into it.

“If I was in their position, there would always be motivation to beat us, so we know it’s definitely not going to be easy.

“They’ve ended up being good games for us as we’ve almost won every game and drew a game as well this season but they’ve always been hard games.

“With the pressure, it’s always a bit difficult but we have managed to stick to the plan and it’s ended up being good for us.

“We know that anything can happen and it won’t be easy – it’s not going to just come to us, we’re going to have to go and get it, and do what we do best.”

“We know that anything can happen and it won’t be easy. It’s not going to just come to us, we’re going to have to go and get it and do what we do best.

“We want three points and we want to be champions so we have to win the game and this weekend is when we want to do it.”

“Yo, Ho, Ho, Off We Go,” we’ve put 25 by Rangers…vote here for your top 3
