Watch Celtic Fans TV: ‘Burke’s debut, Weah’s impact and what’s still needed in the Window’

THE BHOYS from Celtic Fans TV were outside Paradise yesterday evening to get post match reaction from the Celtic supporters leaving the stadium after the 3-0 win over Airdrie. It’s interesting reading some of the features today about the game – clearly there is a big difference between the view of this watching the game on television, with the close ups of the Airdrie Goalkeeper Hutton’s facial expressions being commented upon and those supporters at the game who wouldn’t have seen any of that.

When Hutton and his teammates ran towards Emilio when he was awarded the penalty it was disappointing that only Broony immediately responded to run to his teammate’s defence. This was the exact same thing that happened when Jonny Hayes was assaulted at Tynecastle earlier in the season.

Surely this should be discussed in team meetings? One player who always did immediately support any Celtic player in these circumstances was Stuart Armstrong, and I used to admire him for that.

Anyway back to the latest video from Celtic Fans TV and their full-time reaction from Celtic Park after the 3-0 win over Airdrie in the Scottish Cup.

“An underwhelming first half was alleviated by a Scott Sinclair strike – after the winger had previously missed a penalty and an open goal! He was on the scoresheet again early in the second half before debutant Timothy Weah wrapped up the 3-0 with a cool finish from Boyata’s pinpoint pass,” was their take on the game.

“A run of the mill performance sees us through to the 5th round and one step closer to the goal for the end of the season.

“Today we talked about: The performance, Oliver Burke’s debut, Timo Weah’s impact, what we still need in the transfer window and Man of the Match.”
