Yang just continues to impress. Nicolas Kuhn’s place is still his to lose, but if the South Korean keeps on shining, then that might just change…

Yang once again continues to shine as he followed on from his impressive cameo against Aberdeen by making a huge impression from the bench in Saturday night’s vital victory over St Mirren.
Yang scored two and could have had a hat-trick
The South Korean entered the fray in Paisley and had a vital say in the 5-2 victory over the Buddies as he scored a brace, and could indeed have had a hat trick only for the offside flag halting his celebrations, although correctly I may add.

He scored two fine headers each side of a fine Daizen Maeda strike the first of which fired us back into the lead, and the second which rounded off the scoring for the evening.
A constant threat to the St Mirren defence
He was a constant threat to the St Mirren defence in his short time on the pitch with his direct play and goal threat, which was duly recognised with the Player of the Match award.

Even upstaging the inspirational Nicolas Kuhn
Yang is at this moment in time upstaging the inspirational Nicolas Kuhn, who looked a little below par, just as he did on Tuesday night against Aberdeen. Nicolas is still for me the man firmly in possession of that right hand side slot, but if Yang keeps up this sort of form, then the German may have a fight on his hands in regards to being a nailed on first team starter in the not too distant future.

James Forrest set to return to action
And with James Forrest set to return shortly Brendan Rodgers all of a sudden has got plenty of options for his wide positions especially as Daizen Maeda is now surely the first pick striker at Celtic after Kyogo’s exit and Adam Idah’s form struggles.
