Boyata Latest: Fulham sack Slavisa Jokanovic plus new Podcast

A much welcomed new podcast this morning from the team at 90 Minute Cynic. Regular host Chris Gallagher is joined on the panel by Chris Boud and Christian Wulff.

The three Bhoys chat about a wide range of Celtic related matters including a look back to the last two games, the brilliant win against RB Leipzig that brought Celtic right back into contention to qualify from this very tough group.

There is perhaps a little less excitement talking about the goalless draw at the weekend away to Livingston – indeed the game was so far from being memorable that the Bhoys seem to have got the score wrong! It was 0-0 not 1-1!

There has been two great contract signing news stories and the team consider the back-stories to Olivier Ntcham and Ryan Christie signing on for the ten. And it looks like Lustig and Brown are going to be the next ones to be announced.

Yet the player that the support are anxious to sign up is Dedryck Boyata and he will no doubt be aware by now that the Premier League manager who tried to sign him in August has this morning been sacked.

Yes, Fulham have sacked Slavisa Jokanovic and immediately appointed the former Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri as his replacement. That could be very good news for Fulham fans but is likely to be bad news for Boyata if he reckoned that that door to the Premier League remained opened. It would appear to be less certain now.

Anyway, enjoy the new 90 Minute Cynic Podcast (@90minutecynic)
