Celtic defenders Cameron Carter-Vickers and Auston Trusty have been selected for the United States national team ahead of their CONCACAF Nations League A semi-final clash against Panama on 20 March at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California…

Three days later, they will go up against either Mexico or Canada in the final should they progress past Panama.
This is Carter-Vickers’ first time being called up to an international camp under head coach Mauricio Pochettino, who assumed the role in September 2024. The 27-year-old centre-back featured just twice for his country in 2024, mainly because a toe injury kept him out of action following the Copa America last summer.

Auston Trusty, 26, received a call-up from Pochettino in November 2024 but had minimal game time, featuring for only three minutes across the CONCACAF play-off two-legged affair against Jamaica.
Brendan Rodgers has favoured Cameron Carter-Vickers and Auston Trusty as his central defensive duo for Celtic, as the team set their sights on a domestic Treble this season.
Here is the full USA squad
