Celtic are confident that skipper Callum McGregor will be available for next Saturday’s Scottish Premiership clash against Heart of Midlothian…

The captain was sidelined for last Sunday’s 3-2 loss to theRangers at Celtic Park due to a reoccurring calf injury.
McGregor missed training with his teammates in the week leading up to the highly anticipated showdown, and although a late decision was made on his availability, he ultimately did not play.

Calmac likely to be ready to face Hearts
According to SunSport, the 31-year-old is likely to be fit and available for selection against Hearts next Saturday. McGregor is said to be ‘desperate’ to make his return ahead of Celtic’s title run-in, while central defenders Auston Trusty and Liam Scales are also working hard to recover and regain fitness.

Bernardo and Forrest will be available for selection
Paulo Bernardo and James Forrest, who have been out for an extended period, are reportedly nearing full recovery as Brendan Rodgers aims to secure a coveted domestic Treble before the season concludes.

Rodgers’ men welcome Neil Critchley’s Hearts side to Glasgow next weekend before travelling to face St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park at the beginning of April.

Celtic need four wins to secure the title
Celtic need just four more wins to clinch their 55th league title and will be looking to recover quickly from their disappointing Glasgow Derby defeat following the international break.
