The Celtic support have been given an official announcement from the club’s channels that there will be a memorial service in the German city if Munich tonight, which they should be both mindful and respectful of…
It comes amidst a tragic terror attack in which a car was driven into a crowd of civilians in the city centre.

The Hoops travel to Bavaria today as they head over for the second part of this blockbuster tie in the UEFA Champions League play-off rounds. Brendan Rodgers and his team are facing an uphill task after trailing 2-1 from the first instalment at Celtic Park last Wednesday, where small details cost the Celts on the night.
Many thousands of Celtic supporters will be travelling to the German city of Munich to support the team, as they always do, and the club have taken to social media to alert the fanbase to be mindful of the tribute which will be taking place tonight around 6pm. It will be a memorial for those lost and injured in this most heinous attack on innocent people and the club have reminded the support to bear this in mind whilst enjoying the trip to Germany.
The club statement issued, said:
“We have been informed today (Monday) by the local authorities in Munich that a memorial service will take place in the city centre following the tragic attack last week which saw more than 30 ınjured and a mother and two-year-old child lose their lives.
“The service will take place at the Dome (Frauenkirche) in the Marienplatz area and we ask that our supporters are aware and mindful that this service is taking place at 6pm this evening.
“Thank you for your support.”
