Celtic will be parting ways with three academy players this summer, according to a report…
According to Daily Record, goalkeeper Joe Morrison, defender Alasdair Davidson, and winger Lewis Dobbie will all depart the club at the end of the season when their contracts expire. The trio progressed through the youth system, each earning appearances for the B team during their time at the club.

Morrison was a backup goalkeeper for Celtic’s Champions League squad
Last season, Morrison was selected as a backup goalkeeper for Celtic’s Champions League squad, while Davidson earned two caps for Scotland’s U17 team following his debut in October 2022. Additionally, Morrison spent part of this season on loan at Stenhousemuir in League One.
Dobbie has had a productive season with Celtic B, netting 13 goals in 24 appearances, averaging a strike every 124 minutes for Stephen McManus’ side. He also featured twice in both the UEFA Youth League and Challenge Cup.
Outrageous from Lewis Dobbie! 🤤

Dobbie scored a stunning backheel against theRangers
In the 2023 Youth Cup final against theRangers, Dobbie scored a stunning backheel in a thrilling 6-5 victory for Celtic. The club’s senior manager, Ange Postecoglou, was seen in the Hampden stands for the match, accompanied by chairman Peter Lawwell and CEO Michael Nicholson.
What better way to ring in the new year than by signing your first professional contract! Congratulations Inverkeithing United’s Alasdair Davidson on signing with @CelticFCAcademy https://t.co/ysxGGLFtA7 pic.twitter.com/R6HePk2Bbo

Daniel Cummings also joining the list of summer exits at Celtic
All three youth players will be seeking new opportunities this summer. The trio will be joining Daniel Cummings, who despite making his senior debut against Aston Villa in the Champions League group phase in January, will depart the club on a free transfer, with Celtic receiving a cross border development fee.

Cummings failed to impress in the Glasgow Cup Final penalty shoot-our defeat to theRangers B Team on Tuesday night which was shown live on Celtic TV.
Cummings joins a long list of Celtic academy prospects that will make the move to England and most likely face immediate football obscurity with a lower-end English Premier League side.

Celtic announced ‘hugely significant’ news on new deal with adidas
This update comes after Celtic’s announcement of a “landmark” 10-year contract extension with kit supplier Adidas, marking both the longest kit deal in Scottish football and the biggest in the club’s history. Michael Nicholson said: “This is a hugely significant announcement for Celtic, the biggest official kit supplier partnership in the club’s history and one we are sure will delight our supporters worldwide, allowing us to look to the future together with confidence.”

Lower end obscurity??? What a disgraceful and disgusting comment relating to 3 boys that gave their all during their time at Celtic.
The reference is to Daniel Cummings not the three lads reportedly being released.
Congratulations on the creative plagiarism – Cummings wasn’t even mentioned in the DR article. Still if it suits your bitter, twisted mind after Cummings & Vata kicked yer pal Pete’s ass for offering them yet another B team contract to reward their prolific goalscoring in Scotland & Europe. At this rate we should win the European Cup again by 6767
