Celtic travel up to Tayside to take on Dundee United in The Scottish Cup Quarter Final this evening as Ange Postecoglou’s side looks to earn their place as the fourth team to go through to the semi final draw.
Alloa Athletic and Raith Rovers have already been disposed of in this season’s Scottish Cup campaign but Tam Courts’ United will prove to be a much more tricky opponent under the lights at Tannadice.

Team News
There are no fresh injury concerns for Celtic, who disposed of Livingston at the Tony Macaroni Arena eight days ago. The Celtic manager will be keen for his team to replicate the form that they exhibited against Livi tonight as they look to join Hibs, Hearts and theRangers in the semi final draw.
Christopher Jullien will be hoping that he gets the nod in the middle of the defence but Ange appears to content to continue with Carl Starfelt & Cameron Carter-Vickers. Josip Juranovic and Anthony Ralston is another question for the manager to answer but the Croatian Internationalist is the unquestionably his first choice and you’d expect Ange to start with Juranovic this evening.

In midfield, Ange went with Bitton, McGregor and Rogic against Livingston and they impressed. Hatate and O’Riley will want to be involved in some capacity but the manager needs to decide who makes up his best XI for this game. Both January signings could come on from the bench.
Up top, the same issue applies. The landmark win at the Tony Macaroni produced excellent individual displays from the front three. Liel Abada and Giorgos Giakoumakis will be knocking at the door to continue their fine form but again are likely to be listed as substitutes. Meanwhile, Mikey Johnston and Karamoko Dembele will want some minutes on the pitch. Dembele’s involvement with the first signal better news on his contract situation as far as Celtic is concerned and there will be no place for Ben Doak who is now out of the Celtic first team picture ahead of his likely move to Liverpool. All we can do is wish the lad all the best and hope it’s not a case of history repeating itself with a similar outcome to the Charlie Nicholas situation when he left Celtic too quickly.

David Turnbull is nearing a return to action but this game will be a game too soon for the Scotland midfielder. ‘Bull’ as Ange calls him will be back training with the first team this week ahead of Kyogo – who also had a hamstring injury – and he expected to return after the International Break.
Predicted XI: Hart; Juranovic, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Taylor; Bitton, McGregor, Rogic; Jota, Maeda, Forrest.

Kick Off Time
The game will kick off at 7:45pm (Celtic Park time) and there will be a smaller than usual Celtic support at Tannadice.
