Eight games minimum for Jamsie to keep up his remarkable record, let’s hope he’s successful…

Jamesy is one goal away from a remarkable Celtic achievement
James Forrest is most likely going to have the honour of becoming the most decorated Celtic player of all time come the end the season, and whilst that’s an honour he can be immensely proud of, there’s another record he’ll be aiming to keep going.
That of course would be having the distinction of scoring in what would be an impressive 16th consecutive campaign.

James of course has yet to find the net this season mainly due to his lack of game time, which wasn’t helped by a spell on the sidelines through injury.
Great to see Jamesy back at the weekend
He did however make his long awaited comeback after suffering injury in the Premier Sports League Cup final win over theRangers back in December, as he made an appearance from the bench in the 3-0 win over Hearts at the weekend.

Jamesy actually played on in that final despite having picked up the injury shortly after he came on the park at Hampden and as he was the last substitute there was no alternative other than Celtic going down to ten men. There’s no doubt Jamesy’s decision didn’t help his fitness and that sort of sums up Jamesy and his commitment to the Celtic cause.
James Forrest is now back to full fitness and he has a minimum of eight games remaining, hopefully one more in the shape of a Scottish Cup final to keep up that impressive personal record.

Sandman made a great suggestion
With the ability and experience he brings to the table, I’m sure he will have the chance to keep that record alive in the coming weeks. Best of luck to him in his quest to do so. And as Sandman suggested in his Definitive Ratings at the weekend Jamesy should be put on penalties so that he gets his special goal.
Just an Ordinary Bhoy
