Nicolas Kühn looks set to complete a move to Serie A side Como. The German winger has been the subject of interest from a number of teams this summer but it appears that Cesc Fabregas has persuaded the Celtic attacker to swap Glasgow for Italy.
Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg revealed that the ex-Barcelona and Arsenal midfielder had helped broker the deal through several phone calls with Kühn.

His performances in Europe will have caught the eye of a number of suitors but it appears that Como have wowed the player. A return to RB Leipzig was touted but it appears to suggest that the Bundesliga side were rejected in favour of the hugely ambitious Italians.
Celtic signed the attacker from Rapid Vienna in January 2024 for €3m and it wasn’t the easiest of starts for the player. Despite this, Kühn scored 24 goals and assisted 18 times in 69 appearances for the club, helping Celtic to win four trophies.
A £14m profit in 18 months is good business. Let’s be honest. Of the 18 months he v spent with us he gave us around 4 or 5 of sustained quality.
Where we have to be careful now is in spending. After the sale of O’Riley, the combined cost of Idah and Engels was far too much.
