Greek giants Olympiacos are now in “final negotiations” with Celtic over the signing of Luis Palma on a loan deal with a €4 million option to buy…

Palma set for return to Greece
The Honduras international is set to leave the club after Brendan Rodgers moved to bring back our former star Jota, who had been on a footballing hiatus for the previous 18-moths in Saudi Arabia with Al-Ittihad and then France with Rennes.
With our Superstar from Portugal now back in the building, Palma can finally get on with finding a new destination to call home, after it became readily apparent that Brendan Rodgers just didn’t fancy him going forward. The tricky winger has managed to notch 7 goals and 9 assists for Celtic since joining in the summer of 2023 and has shown in flashes the talent he possesses.

Palma has endured a poor second season at Celtic
However, Luis Palma has just been unable to bring it altogether consistently and will now be moved on, with the club aiming to secure as much as possible for his services. Need broke last night that Greek giants Olympiacos were on the verge of taking him back to Greece were the Hoops signed from Aris Thessaloniki. Apparently the player is keen and terms have been reached with his representatives over the terms and conditions of his move.
Now a report has claimed that the two clubs are now in final negotiations to get the job done. According to To10.gr in Greece, Josè Luis Mendilibar has officially signed off on the deal to bring the left-sided forward back to the country he made his name, and that now Celtic and Olympiacos are speaking about the potential transfer fee and things of that nature.

Hellas Football report on deal details
Hellas Football report that the deal with Celtic is initially a loan with an option to buy set at €4 million, which will see Celtic cover the fee paid to Aris in the summer 2023 transfer window.

Celtic in talks to sign Mathias Kvistgaarden
The club have done well to get to the Champions League play-off but it’s clear from last night’s match with Aston Villa that more support is needed for Rodgers to compete at this level. A striker should be priority now will the loss of Kyogo and Anthony Joseph confirmed the club were in talks with Mathias Kvistgaarden’s club Brondby over a deal believed to be around £10m.

UPDATE: Celtic are in talks with Brondby over a possible deal for striker Mathias Kvistgaarden.
It’s understood the Danish club are holding out for a record fee in excess of £10m.
Kvistgaarden, 22, has been a long term target for Celtic, who are looking to replace Kyogo. https://t.co/RiZwm448d0
