Photo: Josip Juranovic reacts to impressive World Cup win

Celtic defender Josip Juranovic has reacted to Croatia’s World Cup win with a post on Instagram. The full-back played the whole game as Croatia came from a goal down to win 4-1 against Canada.

Juranovic assisted the second goal of the game with a typically tenacious run from defence. In the post quoting the Latin ‘Per Aspera Ad Astra’, meaning ‘through adversity to the stars’ along with Croatian for ‘We Continue’.

Croatia were beaten finalists in 2018 but the performance against Canada showcased that they may yet be dark horses in this competition.
