Real Betis v Celtic – Tonight’s Pundits, “And now Lyon have gone further ahead”

Whoever the pundits/commentators may be tonight, here are 10 things that we DON’T want to hear (but I fear we might)…

1. Defensive naivety from Celtic..

2. Sloppy passing from Celtic…

3. Yet another corner needlessly conceded…

4. Yet another free kick needlessly conceded…

5. What a dreadful miss!…

6. This is all too familiar for Celtic in Europe…

7. Starfelt really must get to that ball first…

8. This means that Celtic now must win their next game or else qualification is beyond them…

9. It’s an uphill struggle now…

10. This reminds me of Neuchatel Xamax and Artmedia…

On the other hand we DO want to hear…

1. The spirit of Lisbon may be coming back…

2. Ange Postecoglou has proved himself tonight…

3. What a marvellous goal for Celtic…

4. Where has Albian Ajeti been hiding these past 12 months? Why haven’t we seen more of him?…

5. All they really needed to do was to play with common sense, and they have done that…

6. We can now be confident about the future…

7. The defence have never put a foot wrong, and have won every high ball in the penalty area…

8, The sporting Seville crowd are giving Celtic a round of applause…

9. At last Celtic seem to have learned the lesson that you must not give the ball away…

10. And now Lyon have gone further ahead…
