The real reason Charly Musonda left Celtic

SO it is official, Charly Musonda has returned to Chelsea and won’t be coming back for next season, as initially was the plan.

Charly’s family members have been suggesting as much on social media over the last week and the player himself posted what effectively was a good-bye message last night on Instagram – see HERE.

The Belgium Under 21 coach got involved and questioned the player’s Big-Time Charly attitude, suggesting this as the reason he’s not made an impact at Celtic and won’t play for his Belgium side- see HERE.

Now though it’s official as Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that the 18 months loan deal has ended a year ahead of schedule as he couldn’t guarantee a starting place for the Belgian who was expected to be the much sought after Number 10 player maker that Rodgers has been after since arriving at Celtic.

Celtic’s message mirrored the Musonda statement with everyone saying nice things about each other.
