Released – The footage Celtic couldn’t show us at yesterday’s game

CELTIC were prevented from showing any video footage from the club’s historic win on Rome on Thursday night at Paradise yesterday. Before Celtic’s 2-0 Premiership win over Motherwell that keeps the Treble Treble winners at the top of the table going into the International Break, the club were only able to display photographs of the 2-1 Europa League win over Lazio.

This was a result of a rather bizarre UEFA rule that prevents the clubs broadcasting any footage within 72 hours of the relevant match ending. Given that Celtic supporters all over the world must have watched and re-watched that amazing Olivier Ntcham winner at least a dozen times each since Thursday, it seems rather pointless UEFA holding back clubs in this manner.

So it’s a case of better late that today , when the 72 hour restriction ran out and Celtic were able to release their own Unique Angle footage of the goals, the final whistle and the post match celebrations – and you know what, it’s well worth the wait!

Sit back and enjoy!
