Celtic go into the November International break at the top of the SPFL Premiership table by one goal after the Rangers victory at Livingston yesterday kept them level on points.

The Celts, however, had the European-chasing Steelmen visiting Celtic Park, who were keen to make an impact after two wins on the bounce.

Odsonne Edouard and a delicious Richard Tait own goal gave Celtic a two nil margin to stretch their winning run to eight games in all competitions, since that awful afternoon at Livingston.

It would have been expected that Celtic showed some signs of fatigue, especially after their win at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Thursday; however, the reigning champions were dominant – if quality in the final third lacked somewhat.

Thanks to the SPFL on Youtube, we are able to access the highlights from the games across the weekend.
